Who am I?
My path to writing this book began with my own confrontation with trauma. I was the victim of an armed robbery and witnessed my life partner die in a traffic accident. Professionally, I have come across a wide range of traumas such as fatal work or traffic accidents, long-term illnesses, burnout, aggression, workplace bullying, death, natural disasters, terrorism, armed robberies and more.

Recognising and acknowledging the damage I have suffered was crucial. This makes me uniquely qualified to understand what trauma can mean and how devastating a one-time traumatic event can be. However, I also recognise how such experiences can lead to profound and enriching transformation. This understanding inspired me to write my book and to start with this platform.
